Quantum-Si included in Nasdaq Index based on the results of the annual reconstitution of the index

Quantum-Si Incorporated one of the most renowned life sciences tools company which primarily commercializes a unique protein sequencing platform, in a recent announcement has stated that it has been included in the most prestigious Nasdaq Biotechnology Index. This addition was based on the results of the annual reconstitution of the index which was by Nasdaq on December 10, 2021. This new index will be effective before the US market open on Monday, December 20, 2021.

Nasdaq Biotechnology Index is predominantly designed to track the performance of a set of companies and its securities that is listed in The Nasdaq Stock Market® (Nasdaq®). Companies in the Nasdaq Biotechnology Index have to meet certain eligibility criteria’s which includes minimum market capitalization, regular daily trading volume, and seasoning as a public company, among other criteria and Nasdaq selects companies once annually in December.
