In the digital world we live in, people are more and more moving towards renewable energy. Hydropower has proven to be one major source that can meet the ever-rising energy demands. Hydropower is basically the use of fast-running or falling water to produce electricity. Even though hydropower is quite innovative with commendable capabilities, the development of new technology has rather remained very slow, and the potential of the same in the various field is yet to be fully explored. Fortunately for us, there are several scientists like Julian Hunt who are focused on developing new technologies to harness power from mountains where the potential is very high for generating electricity.

One of the major drawbacks of hydropower is that there is a very little area surrounding the small water streams. This means that it is quite difficult to properly install all the equipment needed for the production of electricity. The flow of a river is very unpredictable due to climate change, and this will drastically affect consistent power flow. Electric Truck Hydropower (ETH) is the solution developed by Hunt and his team. From its name itself, we can understand what the solution does, that is using electric trucks to convert water power into electricity.
