Is Vaping Harmless?

The Bright Color, Flavored Vapes have Rush Popularity.

Vaping has been very popular among young people as they see it as risk-free smoking. Disposable vapes are trending. These vapes are cheaper than a packet of cigarettes. E-Cigarettes have helped many people remove toxic tobacco smoke from their life by stopping smoking. This change in habit gave a huge health boost. But the recent study shows that the e-cigarette vapor inhaled can contain some amounts of chemicals, which carry risks of their own.

In a study, vaping was found to cause lung inflammation and damage crucial immune system cells. Though more study is needed to prove the finding, some effects were similar to those seen in people with chronic lung disease and regular smokers.

Dentists say they saw some side effects of vaping, such as ulcers, bad breath, dry mouth, and soreness. A dry mouth can lead to a lack of saliva and tooth decay.

Professor of respiratory medicine, University of Birmingham, David Thickett, was worried about the effects of vaping, which might deliver high doses of nicotine to the lungs. To his concern, he said that, for many years, nicotine patches and gums had been used to reduce cigarette cravings. Though nicotine is considered safe in patches and gums, he was not sure if it is equally safe in vaping. He said e-cigarettes were comparatively benign than traditional cigarettes, but as the research is in the early stage, these could still be harmful in the long term.
