U.S. Travel announced new appointees to Executive Board, Governance Committee

The U.S. Travel Association announced the addition of two new members to its executive board and three new members to its governance committee. Diane Shober, serving as the executive director of the Wyoming Office of Tourism, and Vic Isley, who holds the position of president and CEO at Explore Asheville, have been appointed to the association’s executive board. Joining the governance committee are Dan Surette, the chief sales officer at Omni Hotels & Resorts; Kevin J. Thibault, P.E., CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority; and Timothy Wolfe, the director of the Colorado Tourism Office.

These nominations were ratified during the U.S. Travel Association’s spring executive board meeting on March 20. The board officers of U.S. Travel were also re-elected for second terms. These officers, representing various sectors of the U.S. travel industry, play pivotal roles in the association's administrative functions, ensuring its effective operation and fulfillment of member needs.
