ANTA launched zero-carbon mission store to embark the new page in sustainability in the retail industry

The ANTAZERO store epitomizes ANTA's commitment to sustainability and signifies a significant advancement in its sustainable initiatives.

On Earth Day, ANTA unveiled its inaugural carbon-neutral retail establishment, ANTAZERO, aligning with global sustainability trends and China's dual carbon objectives. ANTA Group Executive Director and Co-CEO, Mr. Lai Shixian, along with ANTA Brand CEO, Mr. Tsui Yeung, introduced the ANTAZERO store located at 98 Wukang Road. This milestone marks a significant stride in sustainable retail practices within China's apparel and footwear sector. Spanning 450 square meters, Antazeros transcends mere retail space, serving as a community hub for sustainability. It integrates retail areas, art installations, and workshops centered on sustainability.

The store's development involved sustainable fashion consultant Dan Cui and his team, who incorporated creative reuse practices utilizing waste from production processes. Carbonstop, a professional carbon management consultancy, conducted detailed carbon footprint assessments throughout the design and construction phases to facilitate effective carbon reduction measures. Since 2021, ANTA Group has instituted a comprehensive ESG management system, including a Sustainability Committee overseeing ESG risks and opportunities. ANTA has implemented various management systems and policies for suppliers, enhancing sustainable development practices throughout the supply chain. Their efforts have resulted in notable progress, evident in their "BBB" rating in the MSCI ESG rating, making ANTA the highest-scoring company in the Chinese sportswear industry. ANTA pledges to continue aligning with national sustainability strategies, promoting technological innovation, and advancing green technologies to realize their mission of mutualism with society and the environment.
