Ron Timperio was appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, Global Operations Services

Ron Timperio was appointed Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, Global Operations Services. Adam Silverstein was appointed Executive Vice President, Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety. These announcements followed the departures of Pavan Pattada, who served as Executive Vice President of Global Operations Services, as he pursued opportunities outside of the company, and the retirement of Jill Redmon, who served as Executive Vice President, Quality, Environment, Health & Safety. Mr. Timperio led global engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and other technical capabilities, enabling Westinghouse’s business units. Most recently, Mr. Timperio served as the Chief Operating Officer at PDC Machines, a company manufacturing diaphragm compressors and commercial hydrogen fueling stations. With 30 years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain management, environmental health and safety, and quality control, Ron spent nearly two decades at General Electric in leadership roles within its aviation, transportation, industrial solutions, and energy services, including nuclear energy, business lines.

Mr. Timperio holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from California State Polytechnic University and an MBA from the University of La Verne. Adam Silverstein was appointed Executive Vice President, Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety. Mr. Silverstein earned an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Rochester and a master’s degree in engineering science and mechanics from Pennsylvania State University. He also earned an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
