Filigran is making strides in the cyber security landscape with the development of its eXtended Threat Management (XTM) suite, a comprehensive package designed to advance contemporary threat management capabilities

Paris-based firm Filigran In its quest to improve cyber security solutions, it has secured a daring $35 million in its Series B fundraising round. This funding, which underscores the company's meteoric expansion in the cyber security space, comes just months after it raised $16 million in Series A financing.

OpenCTI, the main product, is an open-source threat intelligence platform that enables businesses to take in and enhance threat data from a variety of sources, including well-known suppliers like Sentinel One and Crowd Strike. More than 4,300 cyber security experts have contributed to OpenCTI, which has been downloaded millions of times. Notable users include the FBI and the European Commission. Building on this feat, Filigran is now developing the eXtended Threat Management (XTM) package, an advanced cyber security suite. Other products like OpenBAS, a platform for breaching and assaulting simulations, will be part of this. According to Samuel Hassine, co-founder and CEO, the company wants to offer a full suite of three integrated products by 2026 in order to address contemporary cyber security issues.

Under the direction of Insight Partners, with involvement from current investors Accel and Moonfire, the Series B funding is intended to assist the business create novel offerings and enter new countries, such as Germany, Japan, and Singapore.
