Martina McBride, Flo Rida, Vanilla Ice, and The Commodores will perform at the Great American State Fair on the National Mall from June 25 to July 10. The Silicon Review reports on the free 16-day celebration of America's 250th birthday.

A 110-foot Ferris wheel, military demonstrations, a slate of nostalgic musical acts will transform the National Mall as the Great American State Fair celebrates the nation's 250th birthday from June 25 through July 10.

The state fair lineup includes country star Martina McBride opening the event on June 25, followed by an "I Love the '90s!" night on June 26 featuring Vanilla Ice, Milli Vanilli, C+C Music Factory, and Young MC . The Commodores and Morris Day & the Time are scheduled for June 27, though Morris Day has denied his band's participation in an Instagram post, writing "It's a no for me."  Flo Rida will perform on July 2, and Poison front man Bret Michaels closes the music slate on July 3.

The free, 16-day exposition will showcase all 56 U.S. states and territories in a World's Fair-scale event, featuring carnival rides, hands-on activations, and livestock competitions. Each day carries a distinct theme, including Military & Veterans Appreciation Day on June 28, Independence Day Celebration on July 4, and The Next 250: Innovation on July 10.

Organized by Freedom 250, the nonpartisan public-private partnership created by President Trump to plan the semiquincentennial, the event is part of a broader series of celebrations leading up to July 4. The America 250 festivities also include World Cup watch parties, an IndyCar race passing the White House, and Patriot Games athletic competitions for high school students.

"Thousands of guests from all corners of our nation will come together to experience an unforgettable celebration of the people and traditions that define us," reads a description on the Freedom 250 website. "This once-in-a-generation event will feature live music, carnival rides, and hands-on partner activations where visitors can experience what makes each state and territory unique."

Admission is free, but advance registration is encouraged. Additional performers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
