Presley Gerber, son of Cindy Crawford, dies at 27 on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at a rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles.

Supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber’s son, Presley Gerber, passed away at the age of 27, while staying at a rehabilitation center in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

According to Los Angeles County medical examiner, Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber died at age 27 on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at rehab facility. The 27-year-old model had battled addiction for a long time. The autopsy report has not been public yet.

Allie Jenkins, a representative for Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber said in a statement, on behalf of Gerber's well-known parents, entrepreneur of Casamigos tequila Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford and model sister Kaia Gerber, 25, said “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time." Like his mother and younger sister Kaia, Gerber was also a model. At the age of sixteen, he made his runway debut for the Italian brand Moschino. He then worked as a model for companies including Bottega Veneta, Dolce & Gabbana, and Burberry. 

Along with his sister Kaia Gerber, Gerber worked as a model. In 2018, at the age of 18, he was the face of a global advertising campaign for Calvin Klein Jeans.  According to USA Today, he was detained and accused of driving while intoxicated a year later. He was ordered to finish a DUI program and given a three-year probationary period.

His father, renowned businessman Rande Gerber, co-founded the Casamigos tequila brand. Gerber had been very open about his drug usage and mental health issues in recent years.

In 2023 on a podcast Gerber said "Having struggled with mental health, depression and some other things that come along with that, I think that whether I help one person or a hundred people get out of that place that I was in at one point in my life, that's all I need to do."

Additionally, Kaia talked about her brother's battles with addiction in this month's American Vogue. She expressed "When something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone. I think that's also why I started to self-identify as the easy one and never wanted to ask for help."

The name of the rehabilitation center is not reveled yet, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
