SR 20 Fastest Growing Security Companies
The Silicon Review
According to the Institute for Security and Open Methodologies (ISECOM) in the OSSTMM 3, security is “a form of protection where a separation is created between the assets and the threat.” These separations are generically called “controls,” and sometimes include changes to the asset or the threat. And for decades, it is known as the resistance put up to the trouble-maker, by a vulnerable individual or group of people.
In this issue of The Silcion Review’s 20 most promising Security companies, we have departure from the notional and stereotypical understandings of the concept and have tried to establish the fact that Security is a need for all and that it does not matter whether the vulnerability is apparent or prima facie in nature. What matters is how one decides to put up against the day to day challenges and mal threats that arise from Credit card Shopping to Corporate Security.
With rising steps being taken by entrepreneurs and companies in securing Communications, Computers, Information, Surveillance Security, etc, we felt that the time is right and that there is a definite need to applaud and recognise the leaders of today as well as organizations and their founders, who have the potential to become tomorrow’s leaders.
