After so much assumptions and speculations, the tech giant ‘Google’ has finally established that its Google Assistant voice-based virtual assistant that soon will be coming on all the devices running Android 6.0 Marshmallow or above.

Popularly known as voice-based virtual assistant, Google Assistant made its debut on the Google Allo app, and after that was rolled on to company's Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, advertised as the major highlight of the new hardware. Apart from the Pixel devices, the Google Assistant is also now made its way to LG's new G6 flagship as well.

It is been said by the company that the rollout will begin at the earliest this week to all the devices that are running on Android Marshmallow or above.  Google Assistant will be accessible for all English users in the US followed by Australia, Canada, and the UK.

To shed some more light on this, Gummi Hafsteinsson, Product Lead, Google Assistant, said "The Google Assistant will automatically come to eligible Android phones running Nougat and Marshmallow with Google Play Services. You'll also see the Google Assistant on some newly announced partner devices, including the LG G6." 

Coming to Germany as well as for German speaking users, the all new Google Assistant feature will restore Google Search on Marshmallow device and can also be launched by long-pressing at home key or can be triggered  via voice by saying "Ok Google" voice authority. The availability of Google Assistant was first teased earlier this month with an alpha release of version 6.13 of the Google Search app.

Considered as one of the biggest thing to come out from Google in the field of artificial intelligence in 2016, so far Google Assistant was feature was not accessible to any third-party devices or developers, and was limited to Allo app, Pixel and Pixel XL devices, the Google Home speaker, and Android TV devices.
