The Photo Sharing App which is immensely popular due to its amazing features is stepping up in terms of protection for its users by enlisting two factor authentications.

Instagram continues to gains millions of users and while this added layer of protection was available to a select group of users previously, now it is made open to all the users. This Two-factor isn’t a Fort Knox, but it does make it that much tougher for someone to illicitly access your account. With two-factor on, they’d need access to your phone to access your Insta account.

Instagram also announced recently, a new rule to blur out “sensitive” content that users have deemed as either offensive or disturbing. The blurred photos and videos do not explicitly violate Instagram’s content guidelines, so they won’t be removed from the site. Nonetheless, some users may still find them too sensitive to view.

The famous image and video sharing app has a strict policy for not allowing photos or videos depicting graphic violent content, Glorification of self-injury and nudity. Therefore contents which do not cross these protocols but flagged as sensitive by few folks will be blurred, and tapping on the image lets you see it.

So ahead people, login to Instagram, tap the settings option and use the new protection. Do it now!!
