Microsoft introduces innovative app piloted with Indian government departments

After the four months of beta testing with many corporate offices and government departments, the tech giant Microsoft recently came up with its mobile app Kaizala. The messaging and partnership app is destined for office use. Being advertized as a "made for India", the software giant beta tested it with the NITI Aayog and the UP state election commission among others.

To explain further, Microsoft India president Anant Maheshwari told TOI, “The app is currently available in Hindi, English, and Telugu. We will have more going forward."

Available both as a standalone and as a part of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications, one gets the liberty to pick from a basic free version, and a paid "Pro" version. Besides messaging, the app can also grip collaborative files, polls, live location tracking etc.

While the other apps and online products in the workplace collaboration space include Qolabr, Slack, and Evernote Business, among others. The tech giant Microsoft itself has products like Yammer and Teams that are part of their "productivity" apps for the workplace, but have a little dissimilar functionality from Kaizala.
