Google closed its Instant Search feature

Search giant Googles’ Google Instant, launched in 2010 under the leadership of Marissa Mayer, has been detached from search today. The feature was launched with an idea to make search faster by updating results in real time while the user typed.

When the feature was introduced in 2010, Mayer was quoted saying that 'Google Instant was a fundamental shift in search. It was also reported that Google Instant was introduced because a number of users type slowly'.

However, in the year 2015, the giant Google for the first time adage mobile take over desktop in stipulations of searches, and there was no looking back ever since. Immediate Search was not as pertinent on mobile as it is on desktop.

Now, that the hunt behavior of people has changed and over 50% of all Google searches are chiefly complete on mobile, Google determined to do away with this feature. When users type on desktop, they will see the search suggestions that Google provide and then they'll have to click on those to see results. Search results will not load any pages if users have not clicked on either a search suggestion or 'Enter'.

Well, this is not the only way that Google Search is changing. Very newly it was reported that Google has come up with an SOS alert feature for Search. The tool is intended to assist the users in the time crises. The feature will offer all the necessary information about any natural or human-caused disasters.

Google also said in its official blog post said, "You'll see maps, top stories and when available authoritative local information such as emergency phone numbers, websites, and translations of useful phrases."
