All those who thought Fortnite’s guided missile was overpowered, check out the new mode of Epic Games’ co-op sandbox survival game that has taken the gaming universe by storm. Fortnite: Battle Royale has finally added the most anticipated mode. Thanos crossover event mode, Infinity Gauntlet, is now live. And, don’t worry! There are no spoilers for the upcoming movie.

Giving all the game fanatics a chance to play as the Avengers: Infinity War villain, Thanos comes as a part of Fortnite: Battle Royale’s update 4.1, which is now live on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile.

Epic Games has made the Infinity Gauntlet mode available across all Fortnite: Battle Royale platforms for absolutely free. In each match of Thanos mode, the Mad Titan will appear for a limited time. It is just like a regular Fortnite match, but with one major difference — the Infinity Gauntlet will appear on the map and the first player to find it can transform into Thanos and wield the power of all six Infinity Stones. The player will get to play as Thanos until he/she either win or die. With 700 health and 300 shields in the game, Thanos can jump high into the air after a short power-up time. And he is very strong!

Since its launch in July 2017, the popularity of Fortnite has skyrocketed and now it is the largest free-to-play console game of all time. According to reports, back in March, Battle Royale fans spent almost 611 million hours watching the game on Twitch and YouTube and spent about $223 million on microtransactions.

“Avengers: Infinity War blew us away, and the Russos, [Marvel Studios president] Kevin Feige and the whole team at Marvel have been incredible to work with,” Epic Games creative director, Donald Mustard said. “This kind of opportunity, where you have this mutual respect for someone’s work and you’re on the same page about doing something cool for fans, is rare and really exciting. We hope players love it.”
