Panzura rolls out Vizion.ai, a multi-cloud data management service with AI smarts

Panzura, the American start-up has launched Vizion.ai on Tuesday. Vizion.ai is a SaaS platform packed with features like multi-cloud search, recovery, and analytics.

The launch has paved a way for third-party developers to use Vizion.ai’s engine with the help of an API. They can develop applications and suite of tools that enables system operators to index files in – cloud services, restore, and clone data, audit file metadata for creating backups and analysis in the future.

With the launch, now, Vizion.ai is connected with a search engine called Elasticsearch; the search engine is based on open source Lucene library of Apache software. It utilizes AI to provide cost-saving data access and performance insights.

Panzura has worked hard to build Vizion.ai in a span of two years, they have carried out a series of R&D for developing AI and analytics based multi-cloud data, and hyper-scale platform. To meet the demand of the growing market for data search, analytics, and governance, the SaaS platform will help the enterprise customers and third-party developers.

According to a report, capital partner-Chevron and various other has given around $90M for their business development.

According to International Data Corporation, companies will spend around $68B on multi-cloud data services in the coming years. And by 2025, public and private cloud platforms are expected to double its data savings by 163 Zettabytes, which is huge.
