Now Viber Lets You Edit Messages That You Have Already Sent

Humans are flawed and making typos in text messages is a part of that; a single teeny tiny typo in a text message can totally ruin your day. And, Rakuten-owned Japanese messaging app, Viber seems to be really concerned about this and has finally rolled out the most awaited feature — the ability to edit sent messages.

Viber might not have a huge number of users compared to its world-famous competitors, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger, but still, the company has not let its users down. Rolling out a feature where you have the ability to correct typo after sending a message (which only a handful of apps have) is something really close to amazing.

According to the company, it has updated about this feature a couple of weeks ago, however,according to the app's Play Store, the update came earlier this week.

How to use the feature? Just long tap on the message you want to edit and choose the option “Edit”, and the original text will appear in the input area. Once done, tap send and you’re good to go. Best part? The original text will slot back into its original place in the chat letting you continue the conversation smoothly. Fantastic right?
