With a lot of unwanted things happening in the world, do not fret; the world is still blessed with more than a few brilliant human beings who are paving the way for a better future. Elon Musk is one of them. From superfast trains to colonizing Mars to making quirky flamethrowers, billionaire entrepreneur and founder of Tesla, SpaceX, and The Boring Company, Elon Musk has never failed to gift humanity with his outstanding technological inventions.

Last Tuesday, SpaceX successfully launched its largest satellite ever into space. According to Musk, the size of the satellite was nearly the size of a city bus. Congratulating everyone, Musk celebrated the 50th launch of the Falcon 9 rocket with his team. But it wasn’t just celebration; Musk also reminded everyone that struggle of the early days is one of the major reasons behind the success of SpaceX.

"Just ten years ago, we couldn't even reach orbit with little Falcon 1," Musk tweeted.

"A lot of people really only heard of SpaceX relatively recently, they may think Falcon 9 and Dragon just instantly appeared and that's how it always was. But it wasn't," Musk said at the International Astronautically Congress (IAC) conference in Australia.

At the early stage, it was really tough for Musk to try and compete in the rocket industry; it was risky but Musk’s vision wasn’t that weak to be broken.

“I messed up the first three launches. The first three launches failed,” Musk said at IAC in Australia. "A fourth failure would have been absolutely game over.”

After successfully launching the first rocket, SpaceX got a government contract. Musk said, “NASA called us and told that we'd won a $1.5 billion contract. And I couldn't even hold the phone, I just blurted out.”

“I just think there have to be reasons that you get up in the morning and you want to live. Like, why do you want to live? What's the point? What inspires you? What do you love about the future? It's important to have a future that is inspiring and appealing.”
