The Scariest Horror Game: Bring to Light Is Coming To Scare You

The Scariest Horror Game: Bring to Light Is Coming To Scare You
The Silicon Review

Red Meat Games has recently released its all-new horror VR game, Bring to Light and it seems that it is all set to instill fear and trepidation in its players. The Kitchener-based gaming company has also announced that to control in-game content, it will be using heart rate monitors. The game will not only track head movements of player but will also track heartbeat.

Bring to Light is a Lovecraftian horror-themed game. The best thing about the game that makes it one of its own is that it forces players to solve puzzles as they travel across shady places; the players need to stick to the light if they want to avoid the dreads hidden in the dark.

“When the heart rate is low, that’s when we know we can… dial up the creep factor and have jump scares and have things that crawl and slither, or doors shaking when you walk past them. It will actually reflect in your heart rate very quickly,” says Keith Makse, Senior Product Project Manager at Red Meat Games.

Bring to Light is one of the first VR game to use the concept of biometric feedback and is definitely a mindblowing approach to the VR horror experience. Bring to Light is now available for purchase for $20 on Steam.
