Microsoft Azure announces blockchain and data management services

Microsoft now has enabled its cloud services both in blockchain and Azure, in a new tokenization and blockchain data management services. The IT service giant announced the Azure Blockchain Tokens and blockchain data manager. This service mainly aims at simplifying the definition, creation, and management of compliant tokens built to industry standards.

The other services also include blockchain data manager which is an Azure Blockchain Service that is designed to allow its users to capture the ledger data of blockchain, transform and decrypt the encrypted data and deliver it to multiple sources. As per the announcement, this new functionality simplifies “the cumbersome task of integrating existing applications with data that sits on a blockchain ledger.”

With this latest offering, we can now offer customers an end-to-end experience of easily creating and managing tokens for physical or digital assets via Azure Blockchain Tokens (preview), in addition to managing the blockchain network itself via Azure Blockchain Service,”stated Microsoft.

Prior to this announcement Microsoft Azure also announced “Azure Heroes” this aims to reward its developer community. As the blockchain sector is now seeing an increase in most of the industries by combining with 3D printing to enhance aerospace supply chains. This will also increase the availability of different technologies to encourage the blockchain sector.
