The Silicon Review
10 January, 2020

In a world that is advancing in the field of technology, 2020 will be a year for the growth of virtual reality. To take off things Panasonic is launching stylish headsets that look like goggles. It is said to be the first VR glasses that will support the HDR video. The glasses also have an improved gradation and quality grain effect. The glasses are able to scan high-quality HD screens thereby making the virtual experiences a realistic one. They also have micro OLED viewing videos.

The VR headsets will add on to these features and the glasses look more fashionable than most of the VR gear and don’t require a band to wear them on. The firm is currently working on the prototype 1 which can be tethered to a computer with an RTX 2080 GPU Quad-core processing. Currently, the team of engineers is working on the prototype of the front-heavy version whereas, the other non-working prototype also must be checked and will be tested very soon. These versions are said to be very light as well as the faster version.

Panasonic in partnership with Kopin Corporation is creating a better version and it will be available for commercial use next year. With this move, Panasonic is all set to redefine the HDR sector with its all-new VR gadget.
