The new Mark 2 sensor from Arable comes with a new mobile application, a customizable programming interface, and a sensor -integrating the bridge device. The solution was a much-needed one due to the pressures from mitigation, climate resiliency, and adaptation. The company is well known for having hundreds of customers and partners in this segment spanning across 37 countries. Jim Ethington, CEO of Arable stated that due to the pressures from climate change the agriculture is in critical stage.
Agriculture is one of the most affected industries due to the adversities of climate change and this something that the company hears very often from their clients. The farmers are sure that they cannot grow any crops in the next five years and currently the yield is down during the hot years. This seems like the right time to leverage technologies like IoT and machine learning to give the farmer all the necessary insights to improve their operations significantly. The new solution from Arable was designed to support interoperability so that the data can be integrated into other digital farming platforms too
