Kaspersky Innovation Hub’s call for gaming startups

The gaming industry is developing faster than ever, and it is very evident that advanced technologies like AR & VR are helping the industry to make dramatic shifts. Contributing to its development roadmap, Kaspersky Innovation Hub continues its activities of Open Innovation Program - designed to encourage collaboration with innovative tech startups – by announcing the third round of its call for applications. All startups and individual projects, developing solutions on the edge of cybersecurity and gaming are welcome to enrol.

Kaspersky IHub is looking for innovators who are working on solutions in the following areas:

• Protection toolsto detect players, their loot, as well as their whole gaming experience
• Anti-cheat– Online security solution for developers and leagues
• Matchmaking servicesto simplify how you find best partners to play with
• Chat, voice communications, and community toolsacross different platforms
• Gaming after-match video search and analysis toolsthat feature neural networks
• Voice assistant and VR/AR-control toolsto open new ways to handle devices and gaming controls
• Game mode and settings for HW and SW environment, as well as ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode to help keep focus on the game
• Secure mobile broadcast and streaming tools, safe sharing and content creation services
• Digital rights managementto protect your digital content and in-game loot

Among the list, the best tech-based initiatives will be invited to take part in pilot projects, where startups will be given an opportunity to work jointly with Kaspersky on product development, with the possibility of global promotion. These startups will also receive technical and business supervision, and those that pass the pilot will have access to Kaspersky channel partners (including distributors and resellers), clients and prospects.
