Recently, a creative data technology provider called the InterSystems made an announcement regarding the availability of a speed test for its flagship offering InterSystems IRIS. The new product is a data platform that is aimed at solving the speed, interoperability, and scalability problems. The test run will be a transactional-analytic application that is customizable, and it can measure performance, queries, real-time ingestion, and compare its performance to other DBMS systems that are on-premise. The Enterprise Strategy Group will validate the results of the tests, and it will also compare the performances with other popular databases in this segment that is used for analytical and transactional performance. The factors that are to be considered in the test are data ingestion rate, number of records ingested, number of queried records, response time, and ingestion consistency.
Recent results published by the ESG shows that the offering from InterSystems is outperforming its counterparts. Director of product management for InterSystems, Jeff Fried, stated that a data management solution is needed for an organization to meet the digital economy's demands. InterSystems is giving the offering to the developers for speed runs to prevent compromising with the mission-critical needs. The new platform can easily handle the workload, and it is considered as a high performing offering from the InterSystems.
