The Covid-19 pandemic has sped up the adoption of android technology in recent times, especially in the medical sector. The service robots are also being used effectively in retail industries, warehouses for logistics operations, restaurants for food serving as well as retail spaces for temperature checks, navigation marketing sectors, and eatery sectors apart from the medical field. This all-new robotic adoption is being supported by a 5G network and also the technology is provided at a very lower price. The robots are now being widely used in countries like the USA, Russia, Germany, Thailand, and Japan.

"We can turn the Covid-19 crisis into an opportunity as the pandemic will fast forward the digital economy and Industry 4.0 in Thailand to take shape by next year, instead of 5-6 years in the earlier projection," stated Djitt Laowattana, executive advisor for the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Office of Thailand.

The robots are now been deployed in many clinical and research centers, testing labs, hospitals, pharmacies, and various other medical institutions.  These robots also supply medicines and food to the infected people without making any contact with them. The robots also assist physicians to communicate with the patients regarding diagnosis and with this, the robots ward off the risk of infection.
