Generally, when the tech giant Microsoft conducts any major technical conferences, it will use that opportunity to make an announcement in regards to upcoming features. This year's Ignite conference was held by Microsoft virtually due to the ongoing pandemic, and that certainly didn't stop them from making an announcement on new features for Power BI. In the conference, it was stated that the premium version of Power BI would be available on a per-user basis, and the prices will also be affordable. Individuals using Power BI will now be able to upgrade to premium from their per-seat professional licenses. Microsoft did not reveal prices' general availability, but the prices will certainly be highly competitive and affordable.

The new announcement is great news for individuals who can now access the platform's entire features on a subscription basis. Beyond the affordability and per-user availability, Power BI premium will now be faster than ever, and it will have a better autoscale capability that will allow the tech giant to add more V-core. There was a small preview of small narratives that were previously announced by Microsoft. It is an analytical feature that was demoed in the previous Business Application conference held during May.
