Polestar’s electric conc...Generally, concept cars are used to display an automaker’s ever-evolving design aesthetics for their auto-show booth. Some of the cars used in the events might make the cut into an SUV or a luxury sedan in the coming years, but the designs normally used in these cars will disappear, not before making an appearance in various events. When automaker Polestar revealed its concept car “Precept” in April, it was mentioned that the name of the car means manifesto things that are about to come. True to its words, Polestar is pushing Precept into production. The Swedish automaker made the announcement at Auto China 2020 held in Beijing. Precept was the first concept that directly came under Polestar because all the previous concepts were started as Volvos first and then turned into Polestar 1&2.
The new touring sedan from Polestar has its own face, and the headlights look like the Mjölnir hammer from Thor. The Precept will be the brand’s most advanced car, and it is made using digital technology and sustainable materials. Polestar’s CEO, Thomas Ingenlath, stated that the consumers in this segment are looking for a change in this industry instead of unfulfilled dreams. The company is committed to significantly reduce its impact on the environment through its cars and business.
