Elon-Led SpaceX has signed multiple deals with the US army for building rockets

Spearheaded by Elon Musk, SpaceX has managed to secure three military contracts over the past few months. Some of the experts in the aerospace segment are speculating that the deals with the US army won’t end here for SpaceX. Professor of aerospace and mechanical engineering at the University of South California, Steve Nutt, stated that the US Department of Defense (DoD) now has an immediate need to transport supplies quickly because of the global tensions that are rising. Furthermore, he added that SpaceX has the capability to fulfill the demands of the DoD. The rockets that are used by SpaceX will address the ever-growing needs and deliver support and hardware supplies to almost any part of the world.

Conventional contractors who deal with defense transits are known for being too slow, sloppy, and expensive, making SpaceX a reliable alternative. In August, the company had managed to secure a small portion of the billion-dollar deal, which was made to launch rockets for Space Force. A few months later, SpaceX signed a deal with Pentagon to create satellites that can be used to track missiles. Then, a few days ago, the US military made an announcement that it was partnering with Elon-led SpaceX to build rockets that can deliver weapons at 7,500 mph.
