Cisco’s WebEx is now bei...Masergy, a popular managed SD-WAN service provider, recently made an announcement regarding its unified communications-as-a-service offerings as it is planning to include Cisco’s video conferencing service WebEx. The latest offering is aimed at delivering both Masergy’s unified communication solutions and Cisco’s WebEx in a singular application that will integrate with SASE and Fortinet-based SD-WAN services. Masergy and Cisco’s partnership has worked out fine in the past, and they would like to continue that with the new range of communication services based on Cisco’s technology. The latest update of Masergy’s offering deals with the underlying infrastructure for chat, video and voice communication, conferencing, and file sharing capabilities of Cisco’s WebEx.
Terry Traina, CTO of Masergy, has stated that the company is directly managing and operating the client’s security and network services to enable them to do what is best. Furthermore, the CTO added that companies can now easily achieve highly reliable communications when they are paired with the SD-WAN offering. This latest update is a part of the company’s entry into the SASE market, which was done last summer through a partnership with Fortinet. Last fall, the company also expanded its security offering to make that it includes the cloud access of BitGlass.
