Elon Musk Highlights ‘Urgent’ Need to Build More Housing in Greater Austin Area

Business tycoon Elon Musk has highlighted the need for more residential buildings in the greater Austin city area. Musk had tweeted, "Urgent need to build more housing in greater Austin area." The tweet came after the Austin++ speculation that Musk would soon be announcing projects in and around the city. This call came in after he extended an open invitation to his followers.

He stated to his followers and anyone else interested in moving to Texas and working for the aerospace company. It is reported that Musk is making hiring investments in Austin. SpaceX has also revealed that it is breaking ground on a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Austin. The company is providing job opportunities to youths that aim to improve the employment rate.

According to the SpaceX job posting, the candidate will help produce various equipment for Starlink, SpaceX's global high-speed internet service that is made up of a constellation of satellites. The job posting also states that it will provide an opportunity for up to 25 percent of people to travel to SpaceX's Los Angeles area until the Austin facility is fully established.
