SAP Unleashes All-New Service Components in SAP HANA Cloud Database

SAP is set to introduce the all-new services of the SAP HANA Cloud database that will allow its customers to handle the ever-growing amounts of transactional and analytical data in data-intensive and highly regulated industries. The new services in SAP HANA Cloud are the key components of SAP Business Technology Platform, which primarily aims to provide users with a high-performance, cloud-native data management environment.

Cloud-native data management predominantly supports increased scalability and flexibility, on-demand provisioning, and consumption-based pricing. The latest SAP HANA Cloud allows customers and several other financial services companies to use reliable and proven Sybase data management solutions to scale their systems in the cloud flexibly and manage their cloud-based infrastructure costs related to processing power and storage.

SAP HANA Cloud Services will currently be available for deployment on Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, AliCloud, and Google Cloud Services by the end of this year, providing customers with their choice of cloud service providers. Besides, the new cloud service will be retaining its ease of use with the most standard SQL-based applications meant for porting applications from other databases to SAP HANA Cloud quickly and easily.
