Pure Storage named as a leader in Kubernetes Enterprise storage report

Pure Storage has been named as the leader in the GigaOm Radar Report for its robust Enterprise Kubernetes Storage. In a recent announcement, the storage-as-a-service company has announced that it was named the leader in the report, which analyzed enterprise storage systems with Container Storage Interface (CSI) plug-ins and software-defined solutions that also included container optimization. Portworx was also named the leader in the GigaOm Radar Report for Cloud-Native Data Storage.

According to the report, Pure Storage is in a strong position to offer a complete set of features for Kubernetes storage on its own and for the third-party storage companies. The results are based on its strategic acquisition of Portworx and swift implementation and integration of the Pure Storage Orchestrator in Portworx Essentials, which is the most innovative freemium version of Portworx Enterprise.

The results primarily highlight the ability of customers to get acquainted with the entire storage experience by using Portworx Essentials without any added costs and mentions Portworx's data efficiency, management, implementation, and monitoring capabilities. Pure Storage received the highest scores among all criteria and evaluation metrics in the analysis and has become the enterprise storage leader.
