Amrita School of Biotechnology has recently reported that it has made a dual degree partnership with the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Arizona. This will be the first of its kind dual degree programme in the field of life sciences. This partnership between two universities will provide students the opportunity to receive two degrees - MSc Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Bioinformatics from Amrita VishwaVidyapeetham and MS Cellular and Molecular Medicine from the University of Arizona.

This is a strategic merger between two well-established units of the two universities, both in academic fervor and research excellence. It will provide students an excellent opportunity to tap into the expertise of the renowned and internationally recognized biomedical sciences faculty at the same time it will harness the rich experience of the Masters's programmes in biotechnology, microbiology, and bioinformatics.
