Microsoft to Launch New Premium Laptop to Replace the Surface Book

Microsoft to Launch New Premium Laptop to Replace the Surface Book
The Silicon Review
13 August, 2021

Satya Nadella led tech giant Microsoft has made Windows 11 official and announced that the company would be launching a new flagship hardware lineup very soon. The upcoming top-of-the-line Windows laptop will not be called Surface Book, but something close to Surface Laptop or Surface Laptop Studio.

Recent reports suggest that Microsoft will not be offering a detachable screen with the soon-to-be-launched laptop. The company has come to this decision because, with the non-detachable design, it will have more options to equip the laptop with more powerful and robust chips in comparison with the currently existing U-series processors that power the Microsoft Surface Book lineup laptops.

Overall, buyers can expect a brand new design with a larger trackpad, a 14-inch display with a high refresh rate, and an enhanced graphics card from the NVIDIA RTX line. Also, Microsoft's newly launched Focus Sessions will feature the new Windows 11 update, which will allow users to know more about the company's product lineup and future projects. It will also allow users to select the time limit to play the video with support for optional breaks.
