Concreit, a popular name in the real estate segment, has recently revealed that it wants to open up real estate investment for a wide range of audiences. The official announcement from Concreit mentioned that it had closed $6mn in seed funding. Matrix partners have led the funding round in which Hyphen Capital, along with other individual investors like Andy Liu, Ben Elowitz, and Jon Stein. Post money valuation, Concreit has managed to raise more than $22mn. The company is based in Seattle, and a new app was launched this week.

This new venture is not the first time collaboration for the Jordan Levy and Sean Hsieh duo. The pair had previously worked together and founded VoIP, before selling the company to West Corp back in 2018. Following the old company’s sale, the duo had stated that they could help everyday people find financial security. Jordan and Sean wanted to create a mobile-first offering that will allow small investors to gain benefits from the real estate segment without many hassles.
