Microsoft Cloud for Retail was unveiled at NRF 2022 Retail’s Big Show event held specifically for the retail segment

Recently, popular tech giant Microsoft has made an important announcement regarding the addition of industry-specific features to its cloud platform. Microsoft Cloud for Retail was unveiled at NRF 2022 Retail’s Big Show event held specifically for the retail segment. For a long time, Microsoft has had many big names from retail as its client for the Azure cloud platform, but the latest platform is aimed at giving merchants new capabilities, especially in areas like HR, data management, supply chain, customer experience.

Microsoft’s corporate VP of global retail and consumer goods, Shelley Bransten, has stated that the new offering is the result of what people have been asking for quite some time now, and this will certainly help in maximizing the client’s customer experience and help people build a more stable and sustainable supply chain. Cloud for Retail will be commercially available from Feb 1, and it will be a great addition to the already existing lineup of industry-specific offerings delivered by Microsoft. The latest offering will help the retailers organize their siloed data well and give their consumers a more holistic view. This will allow them to build a solid profile and drive more personalized shopping experiences.
