The relationship will enable seamless digital and e-commerce experience for its customers

Ford Motor Company has struck a five-year agreement with Stripe to scale the automaker's e-commerce capabilities faster. This partnership will help deliver an always-on experience for Ford and Lincoln customers.

This five-year agreement between Stripe and Ford will help grow the online payments infrastructure to serve customers and dealers in markets across North America and Europe. This will enhance online commerce experience for users, dealers and the company. Under this partnership, Stripe will also enable FordPro FinSimple solutions for the commercial customers.

“We have been working with Ford to reimagine our e-commerce payment infrastructure. Stripe’s platform will help us deliver simpler, outstanding payment experiences in any channel customers choose and scale improvements faster,” said Marion Harris, Ford Motor Credit Company CEO.

Ford will be able to bring new services to strengthen its e-commerce presence through e-commerce backbone through Stripe Connect. Ford will sue the Connect to facilitate a customer's payments to a correct local Ford or Lincoln dealer. The Stripe platform will be key part of Ford's tech stack with this agreement.
