Logitech Upgrades its Sync Dev...The Sync Device Management Platform will now support personal collaboration devices
Logitech has made updates to its Sync device Management platform to now support modern, hybrid workforce. The software now supports personal collaboration devices, including webcams, headsets, and docking stations. This will make it easy to manage conference rooms and workstations from a single cloud-based interface.
“Remote work and collaboration tools in many ways saved the global economy and allowed all of us to maintain our productivity through the pandemic. But it also created an enormous problem now that hundreds of millions of people are at home and IT teams have limited to no visibility into tech issues and how to troubleshoot this. This is a potential productivity crisis,” says Scott Wharton, general manager and vice president, Logitech Video Collaboration.
Logitech is addressing this problem by extending views of the office to home (or wherever you work from!). The company's Sync platform can help IT managers push firmware updates and enable new features to thousands of meeting rooms and millions of personal collaboration devices alike. This can reduce potential issues before they become trouble tickets and bring down the productivity.
Sync works with most collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet, which means that IT teams can get visibility on all their devices. Moreover, Sync can also provide valuable insights to help IT managers make critical data-driven decisions.
