Teams, a popular video conferencing app by Microsoft, is all set to reach Microsoft Store. Users will soon be able to download Teams from Microsoft Store, an in-built app that comes with Windows OS. Yes, it is true. The professional video conferencing app aimed at the workplace was previously not available on the Store, and it had to be downloaded from the web or installed along with Office 365. According to the roadmap, the popular offering from the tech giant will be available for download for both Windows 10 and 11 by earlier next month.
The version of Teams that comes with Windows 10 will be made usable for work, school accounts, and personal, while the Windows 11 version will work for just school accounts and work. It is well-known that Windows 11 already has a version of Teams that was offered as an in-built app meant for chatting with family and friends using a personal id. Back in 2021, when Microsoft had made announcements regarding the redesign of its store, it was mentioned that Teams would come to its store soon. That was also when it was announced that you would be able to install the Teams app on Windows 11 via the Amazon store and Android. It is quite exciting to see Microsoft offering teams in such a hassle-free manner.
