Amazon Style goes live in Cali...Some of the notable brands in the lineup were Levi’s, Steve Madden, and Lacoste, among others
Ecommerce giant Amazon has recently opened a brick-and-mortar store in the Greater LA area. The store is called Amazon Style, and this shows that the company is very keen on being a part of the apparel market. As an innovative offering, buyers at Glendale, California shop are requested to scan codes on the apparel from popular brands to send them directly to the fitting room. The product can also be picked up at the counter directly. Some of the notable brands in the lineup were Levi’s, Steve Madden, and Lacoste, among others. According to various reports published in the past, the Amazon Style is all set to feature brands that were meticulously handpicked by fashion creators and millions of customer reviews collected from Amazon.com.
When the users scan the item, a pop-up will ask the users for colors and sizes. Along with that, the users can also see the ratings and save the items for later. As of now, Amazon Style is not making use of the Just Walk Out tech that is usually found in Amazon Fresh. It was mentioned on the company’s webpage that it is now using advanced ML and AI algorithms to de-clutter the store shopping, and it would continue to add new features based on user preferences.
