Latest Teams update can solve ...To make things easier for its users, Teams has decided to add bots
During the global pandemic, many video conferencing apps gained massive traction and have grown exponentially. But one that stands out from the rest and has enjoyed the major success is Teams by Microsoft. As the online collaboration platform provides various services and tools for its users, it can be quite difficult to handle everything on the go. To make things easier for its users, Teams has decided to add bots. However, it is not quite ready to make its debut at scale for a wider audience.
According to the latest announcement from the tech giant, it was revealed that the bots would be coming only for users who fall under the GCC-High customer category. These users are generally found in the IT teams of government offices and, most often, the Department of Defense and the US government, where the said users have to undergo strict security processing and validation before they access the software. Microsoft will be offering the custom tools and designing them to address the issues specifically faced by these users. It is a bit disappointing that general users who are in more need of this feature will not get this anytime sooner. The latest update would allow users to customize and deploy bots within their Teams ecosystem.
