Higher Ground, Barack and Michelle Obama's production company inked the deal with Audible.

Higher Ground, Obama's production company, has "signed an exclusive multi-year first-look production deal" with Audible. Audible is Amazon's podcast service. This deal gives Audible first right to share Higher Ground’s content, including multiple audio projects to distribute worldwide.

Obamas' deal with Amazon was announced, followed by news of ending their partnership with Spotify. This deal with Audible is just one part of Obamas' continuous involvement in the industry of entertainment after leaving the White House in 2017. Higher Ground's exclusive production deal with Netflix has garnered award-winning TV shows and films. Obama's production company has produced podcasts such as "Renegades: Born in the USA" and "The Michelle Obama Podcast" for its audio endeavors. According to Spotify, "The Michelle Obama Podcast" is the most listened Spotify original.

Former President Barack Obama said, "At Higher Ground, we have always sought to lift voices that deserve to be heard, and Audible is invested in acknowledging that vision alongside us." He said that they are partnering with Audible to tell stories that not only entertain but also inspire. Michelle Obama added that there’s no one other than Audible they would write their new chapter with.
