Elon Musk takes up the ownership of Twitter

Musk has indicated making Twitter a foundation for creating a "super app"

After much back and forth, Elon Musk has finally become the owner of the popular social media App, Twitter. Elon Musk stepped into the role by firing the top executives as he accused them of misleading the investors about the number of fake accounts on the platform. He tweeted “the bird is freed” referencing Twitter's bird logo in an apparent nod to his desire to see the company have fewer limits on content that can be posted.

Elon Musk the CEO of Tesla Inc. is a free speech enthusiast but, he has assured that steps would be taken to prevent the platform from breeding hatred and division. His other goals include wanting to confront spam bots on Twitter and make the algorithms that determine how content is presented to its users publicly available. He is yet to chalk out a concrete plan on how to achieve these ambitions. Musk has indicated making Twitter a foundation for creating a "super app" that hosts multiple services from shopping to ride-hailing to money transfers.
