Kanye West to pay $200,000 per month to Kim Kardashian in child support as divorce settled

Kanye West has been ordered to pay $200,000 per month to Kim Kardashian in child support in a divorce settlement.

The reality TV star and former rapper will share joint custody of their four children. In 2021 Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from West after eight years of marriage. This divorce was filed after several companies cut ties with the former rapper who legally changed his name to Ye, over controversies including anti-Semitic comments.

In March both Ye and Kim were legally declared single, with Kim also dropping "West" from her last name. On Tuesday, documents on the issues around the division of custody of their children and property were filed and revolved around the courtroom.  

The document stated that both parties should consult with each other on major decisions about the welfare of their children.  Expenses for the school, college, and security of the children will be shared. However, according to the New York Post report, Ye is expected to pay $200,000 per month in child support as they will spend the majority of their time with Kim Kardashian.
