Some Twitter accounts will be permanently suspended if users are engaged in impersonation without clearly specifying it as a parody.

Elon Musk announced that there will be no warning before suspending the accounts as previously they did it. Many accounts have changed their name to Elon Musk and mocked the billionaire and those accounts have been placed behind warning signs or have already been suspended.

Twitter’s new billionaire owner has already taken over the place late last month. The owner lay off around half of the workforce of company, at the end of the last week. Elon Musk is also trying to implement plans to allow users to buy blue-tick verified status. He tweeted that "any name change at all will cause temporary loss of verified checkmark".

Previously, Mr. Musk has said he opposed permanent bans on Twitter, including the official account of Mr. Trump. Last week Musk said that the banned accounts would not be reinstated until there was "a clear process for doing so". He also pointed out that the company was not banning the accounts that followed his private plane.
