Grid supply will become more reliable because we have the luxury of having fossil fuel as a backup

Back when green energy wasn't mainstream, storage wasn’t a huge problem. Other nonrenewable sources, such as gas-powered plants and coal, were used to make up the difference, and the demands were met quickly. Once this dynamic changed and green energy became the principle source of energy, we needed reliable storage batteries to avoid energy wastage. In 2019, Germany had an inconsistent flow of energy from both wind and solar infrastructures. What if there was a situation where both their sources were unavailable? This would lead to us installing more bigger storage batteries than what is being planned currently.

Grid supply will become more reliable because we have the luxury of having fossil fuel as a backup. People assume that having two energy sources will solve their shortfalls, but the truth is that it doesn’t work that way. We must understand that both energy sources will be unavailable during the night, and this can pose a huge problem to people living at higher altitudes, as they have shorter days and longer nights. There is only one certain way to avert this crisis effectively: all countries around the globe must honestly evaluate their standings and solve the issues.
