Netflix series Harry and Meghan launched amid publicity and controversy

After a blaze of controversy and publicity, the Netflix series Harry & Meghan are beginning with three episodes on Thursday.

This series promises to reveal the inner story of how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from royal duties. Trailers of the documentary refer to a "war against Meghan", and Harry, the Prince speaks of the setting and leaking of stories as part of a "dirty game". It is said that intense scrutiny of the series will take place.

This series has promised a view of palace life "behind closed doors" with Prince Harry in an apparent reference to his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, and his wife, Meghan, speaking of the suffering and pain of women marrying into the such institution. The trailers suggest that the TV documentary will reveal how the love story between Prince Harry and Meghan developed and also show the account of their changing relationship with the public and the media.

The dramatic tone of the trailers suggested a collision course between Harry and Meghan with the Royal Family. However, Buckingham Palace has not yet responded to the claims of the Sussexes.
