The most nominated film for the 2023 Oscars is Everything Everywhere All At Once

With 11 nominations, Everything Everywhere All At Once is the most nominated film for this year's Academy Awards.

The outrageous journey follows a woman, played by Michelle Yeoh, as she travels around the multiverses in various guises. The Banshees of Inisherin, Avatar: The Way of Water, and Top Gun: Maverick are among the other films up for best picture. The acting nominations include Andrea Riseborough and Bill Nighy from the United Kingdom, as well as Cate Blanchett and Brendan Fraser.

For her role as a renowned orchestra conductor in the movie Tár, in which she is accused of abuse, Blanchett is nominated for best leading actress. For her portrayal in To Leslie, British actress Andrea Riseborough was an outsider nominated in the same category, but she experienced a late surge courtesy to endorsements from stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Susan Sarandon, and Jennifer Aniston.

 Angela Bassett is the first individual to receive an acting nomination for a Marvel movie with her nomination for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in the best supporting actress category. The other contenders for best actor are Irish actors Colin Farrell (Banshees of Inisherin) and Paul Mescal (The Whale), as well as Fraser (The Whale), Austin Butler (Elvis), and (Aftersun).
