Cross-Cloud Interconnect seeks to streamline multicloud networking design, minimize hardware needs, and cut costs

A big change to Google's Cloud Interconnect service was recently unveiled. Businesses may now safely link any public cloud to Google Cloud through a high-performance network thanks to the launch of Cross-Cloud Interconnect. This development is anticipated to fundamentally alter how businesses approach the difficulties of managing their multicloud workloads and navigating the nuances of network connectivity and configuration. Cross-Cloud Interconnect seeks to streamline multicloud networking design, minimize hardware needs, and cut costs. With more providers on the way, the service currently supports Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Alibaba Cloud.

Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) workloads are becoming more popular, which has fueled the multicloud dispersion of applications. When it comes to offering AI and ML services, including new virtual machines and AI platforms, Google Cloud has established a solid reputation. These services may now be expanded to other cloud providers thanks to Cross-Cloud Interconnect, allowing a wide range of applications to run on different public clouds while utilizing core Google Cloud Platform capabilities like Cloud Spanner, Cloud Storage Buckets, and BigQuery. An important advancement in multicloud networking is Google's Cross-Cloud Interconnect. It guarantees great performance, enables simple communication across different public clouds, and has the extra benefit of utilizing Google's AI and ML capabilities.
