Microsoft definitely has a slight advantage over the other hyperscalers at the moment with all these capabilities coming together

A new cloud data and analytics platform from Microsoft, which analysts claim will give it an advantage over its key rivals Amazon and Google in the intensely competitive cloud market, was announced just a few days ago. The platform, known as Microsoft Fabric, is an outstanding toolkit that enables enterprise clients to manage, store, and analyze the data that powers their most crucial applications. Additionally, it incorporates solutions that serve all of a business's data consumers, from analysts who seek to get insights and make decisions from the data to engineers who manage the technical parts of data processing.

Many industry professionals who weren't informed beforehand by the corporation were shocked by Microsoft Fabric, which is presently in public preview mode and will be expanded with further capabilities in the coming months. Some held off on making a final decision until they could observe it in action. But they welcomed the platform as a major development that would help Microsoft "leapfrog" Amazon along with other cloud service providers, including Google, at least when it comes to catering to large enterprise businesses. Analysts predicted that Fabric would exert pressure on other technology companies like Microsoft's Databricks and Snowflake. According to Forrester analyst Noel Yuhanna, "Microsoft definitely has a slight advantage over the other hyperscalers at the moment with all these capabilities coming together."
